The Evil Entities Are Heating Up!

A three game winning streak ended last week for Rachel and then Michael pulls off the upset on the road to take all of the wind of out of sails of the Wrecking Balls. This one puts the Minotaurs in striking distance of the division lead at 3-2.

MICHAEL WINS, 40-37

The Baboons thought they were climbing out of the cellar with their win two weeks ago, but have since dropped two more games to fall to 1-4 on the season. One step forward, two steps back. Meanwhile, the Zeros win their third of their last four.

KELLY WINS, 36-24

The Reremice thought they played a home game this week and didn’t travel. The Martians thought they played in Reno, even though the NPL doesn’t have a team there. Either way, this one came down to the first fan of either team to hit a 45-yard field goal.

MIRANDA WINS, 3-0

Things were looking particularly dire for the Bongos following such a strong campaign last season. But they got their equipment manager back after a two week maternity leave and were able to dominate with her return. No coincidence if you ask me.

BRIAN WINS, 27-4

The Joel Juggernauts once again rely on the leg of Joel Michael Jowell-Jollsberg, who knocks in a perfect 9-for-9 en route to the decisive victory.

JOEL WINS, 27-6

A bit of a skid here for the Eruption, dropping their third straight game – this time to the Chris Cannibals, who needed the win after a tough loss to the Cutthroats last week.

CHRIS WINS, 27-14

The Vapulaters bounce back. Again. They’ve followed every loss with a win this season. The Sausages couldn’t withstand the fake-field-goal-triple-option offense the Vaps would roll out on 4th down.

VINCE WINS, 36-12

Bette makes it five in a row, one of the last few in the league with a perfect record to start the season after five weeks. They topple the Killcows, who just can’t manage to put wins together. They fall to 2-3 with the L here.

BETTE WINS, 37-24

The Abactors aren’t a-backing down from the quest for an undefeated record. Their latest victims are the woeful LeScavengers that are currently posting flyers around town to help them locate a victory.

AXELL WINS, 46-5

The Bombs outlast the Ballerinas in this high scoring affair, knocking DaVena down to 1-4 on the year with the narrower-than-it-looks victory. That’s two in a row for the Bombs. A third one and the fans get a free medium pizza from Delirio’s Pizzeria.

ADAM WINS, 44-33

Brandon gets a dominant win here to get back over .500 on the season, knocking the Jellyfish below .500 in the process. From losers to winners and vice versa. Nice.

BRANDON WINS, 44-21

The Cutthroats dash any hope the Jaws-of-Life may have had with their victory last week, putting Jerry right back into the loss column that they’ve grown so accustomed to. Corey, on the other hand, snag their second straight with this one.

COREY WINS, 29-14

NPL Title Belt Match!

The Labeorphiles become the latest victim in the BB Cannons crusade for the best record in the NPL. They knock off their fifth straight opponent, keeping the NPL Title Belt for at least one more week of boudoir photography.

BRENT WINS, 19-6

The Rock Lobsters rock the Androids world with this blowout road victory. This marks the first loss for the surprise Andrew Androids who join the Rock Lobsters at 4-1 on the season.

RICKY WINS, 47-13

The Bous can’t catch a break, falling to 0-5 following their encounter with the Tichorrhines, who end their three game skid with two-score victory.

TRAVIS WINS, 27-14

The Ethan Evil Entities added to the struggles of the Josh Javelineers in PRIIIIIIIME TIIIIIIIME. The visiting team opened the season on three straight W’s, but has since been humbled two weeks in a row while the rest of their division play catch-up. Meanwhile, the Entities are the exact opposite of that coin, having rebounded from 0-3 with two consecutive wins.
