Ryan and the Title Belt claim another victim, the Zeros win big to keep their hopes alive, Ethan wins their third straight, and DaVena takes down Corey in Prime Time!
vs
JDIII misses his second game in a row, but veteran back up Joe Schwa managed to keep it close. Unfortunately, the magic of the NPL Title Belt strikes again and the Reremice sneak away with the win in OT. RYAN WINS, 45-36
vs
Lauren wins their second in a row to improve to 6-6 on the year and keep themselves firmly in the hunt for the playoffs. The JeStErS fall to 5-7 on the year, but with two weeks left, a 7-7 finish still might be enough to get into the post season. LAUREN WINS, 36-12
vs
The Vapulaters claim another victory, this time playing host to the Berkenbile Baboons. That’s five wins in their last six games, improving to 7-5 on the year – right in the mix in the Prophet Division. VINCE WINS, 46-30
vs
Steven goes on the road into another conference to take down the Braggadocios. The loss knocks Brandon down to 5-7, and bumps Steven into 2nd place in the Oracle Division. STEVEN WINS, 45-32
vs
Cari stomps all over the Jaws-of-Life at home. All but eliminated from the playoffs (let’s face it – they likely can’t make it, I’m just not going to fact check that), the Bous are now just interested in collecting opponent season ending injuries. They’re at 11 in the last three games. CARI WINS, 46-22
vs
The A-Bombs take down another division rival in consecutive weeks. This time it was Ricky that was attempting to knock them off the throne. Adam Ademma, RB, collected 88 yards and 3 TDs in the winning effort in what is likely his last season in the NPL. ADAM WINS, 35-22
vs
The BB Cannons lose their second consecutive heartbreaker in overtime, last week to Adam and this week to LeScoot to fall to 6-6 on the year right before the playoffs. Meanwhile, the LeScavengers’ three game winning streak puts them right into the mix with two weeks to go. LeSCOOT WINS, 37-36
vs
The Juggernauts explode for a huge win over the Jellyfish, pulling up even with Jennifer at 6-6 on the year. The Jellyfish still own the top offense in the NPL but just can’t seem to get their defense and special teams on board. JOEL WINS, 54-31
vs
The Killcows add another one, improving to 10-2 on the year with this road victory over the Cannibals. Chris falls to 4-8 and is likely out of the playoff hunt. (Again, not going to research that – all sorts of spreadsheets and stuff). KEVIN WINS, 38-15
vs
Kelly absolutely stomps the visiting Martians in an attempt to remind their fans that they do in fact field a football team week in and week out. The Zeros improve to 5-7 are still alive for a runner-up or wild card. KELLY WINS, 55-14
vs
If you think you can’t catch any breaks, consider the Minotaurs. They’ve put up more points than 17 other teams yet find themselves with the NPL’s worst record. Even this win doesn’t help that fact. MICHAEL WINS, 46-30
vs
Ethan Ebow chooses the best time to get his team on a winning streak. With a season best 21-for-43 passing for 229 yards, Ebow leads the Evil Entities to their third straight in a road blowout over the Labeorphiles. That puts them two spots out from the first place Wrecking Balls, whom they face in Week 14. ETHAN WINS, 36-6
vs
Travis does Ethan a big favor and takes down the Augur Division top team with a narrow victory in overtime. The win keeps Travis’ hopes alive at 5-7 with two weeks to go. Meanwhile, Rachel can’t miss the playoffs so they’re only playing for seeding and the free corndogs if they score more than 40 points. Corndogs! Corndogs for all these people! TRAVIS WINS, 43-42
vs
It was the Game of the Week because the brass at the NPL said so, but no one really anticipated a 4-7 Cutthroats team at this point in the 2017 season. DaVena takes advantage of a few Corey miscues and pulls away in the 4th quarter to seal the win and improve to 7-5 on the year. DAVENA WINS, 45-33
